How it all began…

There I was, hustling in the swamps of south Georgia, chasing my childhood dream as a tv news reporter--when in a twist of fate-- I met the man of my dreams and the trajectory of my life changed forever.

Marrying into the military subsequently forced me to leave my career to follow his, and soon after, I sought to fill the creative void that appeared when I left journalism. I missed telling stories and I needed a new outlet.

All it took was a few snaps on my Nikon (and the teary-eyed reactions of a few very happy families) and I knew this was my calling... pulling the heartstrings of my clients by authentically capturing love, emotion & genuine connection on camera.

The way your youngest nuzzles his nose against yours...

The way your oldest giggles when you squeeze her tightly...

How your husband pulls you close to whisper in your ear...

New beginnings…

And now here we are-- a family of six-- starting fresh again at a new base in a new city in a new state (after six years stationed overseas)--and I'm so excited for what the future holds!
