You know when you meet someone for the first time and you can just tell they’re wise beyond their years? You sense a certain level of maturity only gained by experiencing difficulty and struggle earlier in life?That’s what I noticed in my friend Emilee during our first encounter and after getting to know her over the past two years, I’ve discovered hers is a story of strength, resiliency, ambition and love. 7 years ago she was 17, single and pregnant. She felt hopeless, depressed and alone. But then a year later she met Mike and her entire world changed. She began to feel worthy, happy and loved. She started her own very successful newborn photography business (Moments By E. Rose) and became determined to rise above her circumstances, working hard for what she wanted.And now here she is at 24, recently married, expecting baby #3 and living the life she had once only dreamed about.Emilee, I’m so proud of you and it was such a honor to photograph your family.
